Service Dog Training

Are you in search of specialized training for you and your service dog? Are you considering getting a service dog and want to know what it entails? At “I Said Sit!” School for Dogs, we specialize in working with people looking to do their own service dog training, and can help you find a prospect dog and help you build and develop an individualized training plan. We do not produce facility trained service dogs.  Rather, we focus on working with owner trained service dogs who need help from a professional trainer working toward their goals. We realize the cost of a fully trained service dog can be prohibitive for some families and our owner training support programs are here to help make service dogs more accessible.

At “I Said Sit!” School for Dogs, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement. Our training methods focus on reward-based techniques that encourage desired behaviors, utilize choice, strengthen the human-canine bond, and build your dog’s confidence. We understand that service dogs play a crucial role in your life, and we are dedicated to helping you and your dog achieve the highest level of training excellence.

Our facility is accessible and our team will work with you to be accommodating. If you have a lesson but your health flares up, you can easily switch to a virtual lesson if that helps to allow you to have trainer support. Let us know how we can help.
