What Makes Our Dog Training Daycare Different

Each dog in our Los Angeles training daycare enjoys their own private space complete with comfortable bedding, fresh water, and toys. A calm, personal environment to relax and recharge between sessions. Throughout the day, we carefully balance rest with purposeful mental and physical activity, including individualized one-on-one training lessons, structured play, confidence-building exercises, and supervised social exposure with carefully selected play groups.

Every student receives personalized training tailored to their unique personality, learning style, and goals. Dogs also participate in controlled group activities that build real-world social skills, sharpen focus around distractions, and develop the kind of reliability that holds up outside the facility, on walks, at the park, and at home.

Owner Education Is Built Into Every Week

One of the things that separates our dog training daycare from anything else in Los Angeles is this: you learn alongside your dog. Every week of daycare for new clients includes a private one-hour coaching session for your family with your trainer, similar to our weekly private lessons, but fully integrated into the daycare program. These sessions transfer your dog’s new skills into your home, so the training doesn’t just live at our facility – it lives with you.

Most of our clients tell us the same thing after completing the program: their dog is so settled and well-mannered at home. That’s the goal.

Attendance and Getting Started

All new students attend five days per week to build a consistent foundation — you can read more about why in our FAQ below. Everyone starts with a one-hour consultation ($200) where you’ll meet your trainer, tour our facility, and leave with a personalized training plan and homework you can start the same day.

Not sure if Daycare is the right fit? Our Board & Train program is ideal for owners who travel or need a more intensive solution. Private lessons are available for hands-on owners who prefer a coaching approach. We’ll help you choose during your consultation.

Educational Daycare — Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before enrolling your dog in our training daycare program.

At most daycares, dogs play all day with minimal structure and go home overstimulated. Our Educational Daycare is a full training program built into the daycare day. Your dog gets one-on-one sessions with a certified trainer, mini training moments woven throughout the day, structured rest time in their own private space, enrichment activities, and small, hand-selected play groups. You also get a one-hour private session with your trainer every week so you learn to reinforce everything at home. It’s the difference between babysitting and actually teaching your dog.

Most clients see meaningful changes within the first two weeks such as calmer greetings, better leash manners, and improved response to commands. By the end of the 20-day program, the majority of dogs have solid foundational obedience and improved impulse control. One of the things our clients tell us most often: their dog becomes more settled at home after the program. That’s the goal — a truly trained dog, not just a managed one.

Yes, all new students are required to attend five days per week (our school days are weekdays), and here’s exactly why it matters. Dogs learn through repetition in a consistent environment. When there are gaps in attendance, the training momentum slows, and habits take longer to form. Think of it like physical therapy: skipping sessions mid-program doesn’t just pause progress, it can set it back. The five-day requirement is how we deliver the results our clients expect. After completing a course, dogs who continue with us for ongoing daycare have more flexible scheduling options.

Absolutely. Our Honors Course is specifically designed for dogs with fear, anxiety, leash reactivity, aggression, and other behavioral challenges. It includes 60 minutes of individual training daily, plus behavior modification techniques, including desensitization and counter-conditioning. These are cases we work with regularly, and our trainers have specific experience with fearful and reactive dogs. We start every new student with a consultation so we can evaluate your dog in person and design the right plan before the program begins.

Our generous morning drop-off window is 7am–10am. Adult dogs tend to start training early, and we incorporate breakfast. During core hours (10am–4pm), your dog rotates through a structured routine: we schedule group play or solo play in the morning, one-on-one individual training session with their assigned trainer, enrichment activities designed around their senses, small play groups selected for compatibility, rest time in their own private space with bedding, toys, and fresh water, maintenance training with the kennel team, and afternoon play sessions. We also do scheduled potty breaks throughout the day. Every dog has a private space. We are not a cage-free facility, which is intentional. The structured, lower-stimulation environment is a core part of why our training works.

Our GED Course (general obedience for all dogs) is $3,400 for 20 consecutive weekdays. The Puppy Course ranges from $1,900–$4,900 depending on GED or Honors and duration (10, 15, or 20 days). The Honors Course for behavior modification cases is $4,900 for 20 days. All packages include daily individual training sessions, mini-training throughout the day, enrichment activities, structured play groups, and one weekly private family session with your trainer. All new students also begin with a $200 one-hour consultation.

Yes, and this is the part we’re most intentional about. Training only holds long-term when the owner knows how to reinforce it. That’s why every new package includes a private session for your family with your dog’s trainer. You’ll learn exactly what your dog has been working on, how to give cues correctly, how to set up training moments in daily life, and how to prevent old habits from creeping back. We train you as much as we train your dog, because a well-trained dog and an informed owner is an unbeatable combination.

Start by booking a complimentary free 15-minute phone call. In this Discovery Session, you will speak with a trainer, and they will learn about your goals and review the training options we have that will best help you meet your training goals. This call is followed up with an informational email reviewing packages, prices, and health records. The next step will be for you to be sure you have all the necessary health documentation before letting us know you are ready to start your dog training journey. Contact us at (310) 558-9037 or reach out online. Spots fill quickly, and we recommend booking your call at least a week in advance.
