Wednesday 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Instructor: Janet Graham) The Life Skills classes are both revolving enrollment so you can start anytime and over the next 6 weeks you will work your way through each of the 6 themes. These classes are designed to give a foundation of basic training and basic manners in and out of the house. We set up a different real life scenario and then go through exercises that will teach you and your dog how to behave in each.
Training Skills 101
Wednesday 7:00pm – 8:00 pm | March 7 - April 11 (Instructor: Nick Gordon)
This is a positive training class based on our reward and leadership training methods. No harsh techniques or treatments are used. This is a 6-week class obedience class, building each week on the previous weeks lesson. The training covers the basic commands: sit and down on command, come, waiting at boundaries like doors gates and curbs and walking on a loose leash. This class is not for dogs with behavior problems or for dogs that are reactive around other dogs. Feisty Fido
Tuesday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm | January 17 - February 14 CLASS IS FULL (Instructor: Jonathan Klein & Nick Gordon)
(Pre-Requisite: Consent of instructor and a sincere commitment to improve life with your dog) For reactive, barky dogs who need a little help before they are ready to join Manners Class. We will give you the skills you need to keep your dog under control in a distracting environment. *Please note this class is only 5 sessions and limited to 6 dogs so students and dogs get more individualized attention. Cost with preregistration is $175.
Nose Work 101
Thursday 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm | January 12 - February 23 NO CLASS 1/19 (Instructor: Elisha Stynchula)
This class is the first of a series of classes in which your dog will learn to use its nose to find hidden goodies and later odors. Nose Work is a growing sport that is great because any dog regardless of age or size can participate. You can practice at home with out any fancy equipment and it is great to play on those rainy days when you can't get out for a walk. Open to all dogs regardless of previous training or if they are reactive to other dogs, only exception is no human aggressive dogs. Dogs must be comfortable in a crate during class, only one dog is worked at a time.
Fun Games & Tricks

(Pre-Requisite: Your dog will need to know basic commands to participate) This class is a great way to have fun with your dog. Each week we will play new games and we will show you how to teach a trick. That trick will become important for next weeks game and give you an advantage! Games will be varied from stationary games to relay games. This class is for social dog who have no issues with other dogs or people.
Beginning Agility
Saturday 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm | January 28 - March 10 NO CLASS 2/11 (Instructor: Nick Gordon)
This is a beginner level Agility Class, designed to build confidence and introduce your dog to the obstacles, including jumps, tire, weave poles, tunnels and the teeter-totter. This class is not for reactive dogs.
Advanced Agility

(Pre-Requisite: Basic Agility class at “I Said Sit!” or prior consent of the instructor) This class focuses on running the complete obstacle course. You will learn how to gain more control of your dog on the course through the use of advanced handling techniques. We work towards running the course off leash.
Training on the Town Class

(Pre-Requisite: Basic Manners class at “I Said Sit!” or prior consent of the instructor)Each week, we go to a different location in town to practice “Real-Life” situations. This is the ideal class if you want your dog to be manageable and well behaved in public.
Registration
Thank you for your interest in Group Dog Training Classes at “I Said Sit!” School for Dogs. The fee for any six week class series is $195.00, and we give a 10% discount for dogs living at the same address. By pre-enrolling, you are guaranteed a space in class and you will save *$20.00.
*All PRE ENROLLMENT MATERIALS MUST BE RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS BEGINS.
