Letter from the Principal

Thanks for coming to find out about dog training with "I Said Sit!" School for Dogs.  Please come and visit our school campus.  "I Said Sit!" has been voted the best dog trainer in Los Angeles from 2009-2011.  Our general philosophy and our ability to work with you set us out from the crowd.  We are successful in great part because we do things different from the “way it used to be done”.  We work with you and your dog as a team and our clients tell us that they see improvement in their dog literally from the very first lesson after enrolling.

I built this facility based on my experience after 23 years training in Los Angeles.  Come any time to talk to me and tour our training school.  We’ll take the time to talk to you, assess your needs and then suggest a training program to meet them.  Our goal is to treat every dog and owner with care and respect.  We will strive to show you how to get the very best dog you can get out of the dog you have.

All dogs and owners are different and need different training solutions.  We have training where we teach you how to train your dog and where we train it for you and show you how to get your dog to mind you too.  Please explore our website and learn more about our unique dog school.  We offer:

• Personal training in your home
• Day training at our school
• Boarding training in our dormitory
• Safe transport in our school bus

Our training programs are based on positive reward based training.  You will be successful because we teach you how to eliminate the cause rather than just tell you to punish the dog when it exhibits the symptoms.  We never use any harsh techniques like electric collars, leash jerks or yelling to get your dog to learn.

Call us to set up a free “Meet and Greet”* and feel free to bring your dog.  Of course please let us know if you are bringing your dog so we are expecting you and to make sure it has all the necessary vaccinations to keep our other student dogs safe and healthy.  (Facility tours are for owners of prospective students, we don’t let the dogs decide.)
